Autumn in New Zealand

Hello avid readers of the Northumberland Down Under blog!

New Zealand is settling into the icy grip of autumn. Due to many of our trees being non deciduous native trees we do not experience the depth of dramatic colour that many other places in the world experience. However there is something truly special about a New Zealand autumn day – crisp, cold, clear with a little bit of mist – it is truly beautiful.

However thankfully the Tour will be in the summer! Think long long days, warmth, sun, beach swims, ice creams, lots of sunscreen, and playing the pipes long into the humid nights.

We can’t wait!
